Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Law, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop annual audit plans based on risk assessments.
  • Conduct audits in accordance with established guidelines and methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to design and implement process enhancements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes through follow-up audits.
  • Assess risks associated with business operations and provide insights to mitigate them.
  • Work with management to ensure risk management strategies are effectively integrated into business processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Conduct compliance audits to verify that departments are following legal requirements.
  • Present audit findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discussions on audit results and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain open communication channels with staff regarding audit processes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in internal auditing, process management, export controls, and statutory compliance.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills relevant to the role.
  • Promote awareness of internal controls and foster continuous improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain export control policies and procedures in accordance with national and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of export activities for compliance with the Export Administration Regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
  • Provide employees with training on export control compliance requirements.
  • Identify potential legal risks associated with business operations in various jurisdictions.
  • Assess contracts, agreements, and transactions for compliance with legal standards.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on complex legal issues related to exports.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact company operations.
  • Ensure timely filing of export-related documentation with government agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities.
  • Work with Sales, Operations, and Legal to support adherence to compliance standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding export control inquiries.
  • Prepare compliance-status reports for senior management.
  • Document compliance activities for audit purposes.
  • Recommend process improvements based on regulatory changes or operational needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with compliance software is a plus.
