Requirements
  • One to five years of Spanish instructor or teaching experience is required.
  • A child abuse clearance and criminal checks are required.
  • Ability to travel is required.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations that may require running and climbing stairs is required.
  • Good physical condition sufficient to execute all responsibilities associated with the position is required.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise students, provide Spanish instruction, maintain a safe and fun learning environment, and serve as a positive role model for students.
  • Implement daily Spanish teaching for students ages 4 to 18 with different ability levels.
  • Provide one-on-one and group lessons tailored to individual students and groups.
  • Teach fundamental Spanish to promote language skill development and proficiency.
  • Supervise student groups with attention to behavior and group management, health and safety, security, and personal and skill development.
  • Ensure the safety of students and team members.
  • Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun and creative manner.
  • Use effective classroom management skills to lead activities and create an inclusive environment.
  • Work with fellow Activity Specialists and collaborate on daily responsibilities.
  • Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and maintain the required Impact Kids appearance.
  • Exhibit Impact Kids Core Values and adhere to company policies.
