The Security Officer reports to the Medical Center Security Manager. Under general supervision, the Security Officer monitors and provides protection and security for facilities, premises, employees, patients and visitors.

Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma and one year (1) of relevant experience (Security, Law Enforcement, Fire Service, Emergency Medical Service, Behavioral Health, Counselor, Education, or Military).
A Bachelor’s degree or other relevant certifications may be substituted for the required work experience.
Must obtain and be able to maintain the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety certification (IAHSS) within the first year of employment.
Must have a valid South Carolina Driver’s License.
