  • Existing network of contacts within the RIA community
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in building relationships and driving sales with RIAs
  • Demonstrated experience selling investment products, custodial services, and/or technology to independent RIAs and/or institutional investors
  • Series 6, Series 7 or Series 63 required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Curiosity—a hunger to learn and be challenged
  • Collaborative team player while also possessing the confidence to execute independently

Responsibilities
  • Generate sales of Heron Finance to independent RIAs
  • Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with alternative-focused RIAs, acting as a subject matter expert representing our company, platform, and investment solutions
  • Build and manage a pipeline of RIA prospects, with realistic assessments on deal potential and likelihood of closing
  • Attend conferences, initiate sales meetings, manage events, and be the external contact for Heron Finance
  • Work closely with the CEO and CIO to build and execute a sales strategy
  • Create and present educational materials for RIAs about Heron and/or private credit.
  • Serving as an advocate for the customer in market to the product team, helping iterate on Heron’s platform
