Description

We are looking for a high energy, detail oriented and self-motivated person for the critical role of Office Assistant. This role will exemplify “Passion with Purpose” a core value here at LightForce. You’ll be a key member of our Wilmington site team, performing a number of key responsibilities to keep the site running efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Reception Desk
• Answering phone
• Greeting guests (ensuring sign-in and NDA completion)
• Opening mail
• Backup support to IT on providing office access to employees
• Coordinating access and NDAs for tours and visitors
• Coordinating conference room reservations as needed
• Filing service requests
• Ordering / stocking of kitchen
• Ordering / stocking of office supplies
• Ordering / scheduling of lunches as needed
• Keeping office clean and professional (especially when expecting guests)
• Coordinating with building facilities and site vendors to secure services for the building
• Maintaining confidential information
• Address day-to-day office issues, and/or escalate to appropriate stakeholders

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Required Qualifications

• A strong passion to help people
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-faced, dynamic organization
• Common sense, good judgment, and a commitment to positive teamwork
• Previous office assistant experience preferred
• Computer literacy; use of Google Workplace, Ticketing systems, etc

Physical Demands

• Requires the ability to use hands, and reach with hands and arms
• Requires the ability to see, listen, and speak

Work Environment

• Office environment up to 100%
• Work is generally performed in an open office, sedentary position
