Requirements
  • Solid technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with customers and internal team members
  • Customer service orientation with developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
  • Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and high concern for data privacy & accuracy
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
  • Intakes initial claims of fraud from callers and begins investigation process
  • Acts as single source of contact for customers during fraud investigations
  • Contacts customers when necessary to verify legitimate or fraudulent nature of transactions
  • Answers routine to complex inquiries from customers
  • Assists customers with suspicious activity on their account
  • Serves as a senior resource to team members assisting with questions, issue resolution, and training related to fraud prevention
  • Takes appropriate action, including escalating issues as necessary and communicating any trends to management
  • Review and triage customer accounts based on alerts from anti-fraud team and automated tools
  • Partner with own and other teams to assess account activity and determine need for outbound calls or other account-specific actions
  • Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a fraud detection/investigation or risk management role in the banking or financial services industry
