Requirements
  • College graduate.
  • Minimum one year of demonstrated experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor or equivalent supervisory position within a hospitality environment.
  • Proficient computer literacy with competency in property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven expertise in housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, and facility management.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, guests, and residents.
  • Customer service excellence with a solution-oriented mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Allocate the outsourced cleaning team daily to ensure all public areas in the Residences are cleaned daily.
  • Review employee schedules and annual leave plans to ensure correct resource allocation and improve owner, resident, and guest satisfaction as well as employee productivity and satisfaction.
  • Follow grooming standards and check the grooming of the team.
  • Ensure apartment cleanliness is consistent with A la Carte standards and rooms meet hotel standards.
  • Inspect vacant rooms, checkout rooms, and departures daily.
  • Ensure rooms for late arrivals, overnight arrivals, and early arrivals are inspected and marked as checked.
  • Coordinate with Front Office supervisors to obtain group rooming lists and ensure rooms are ready and inspected at least two hours before group arrivals.
  • Submit discrepancy reports twice daily to Front Office supervisors.
  • Monitor team performance and assist with training to improve standards as required.
  • Maintain a balanced allocation of housekeeping room attendants between hotel rooms and residences.
  • Lead and support employees in achieving financial, operational, and service-delivery targets through organizational policies, procedures, and employee training.
  • Foster a solution-oriented work environment that motivates and engages employees to deliver service and provide feedback and suggestions.
  • Lead daily housekeeping briefings and monthly employee meetings.
  • Adhere to Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts policies relating to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Drive the performance of front office and concierge team members, including completing performance appraisals, coaching, counselling, and performance management with Talent & Culture.
  • Ensure the team works with a sales-focused attitude and is aware of sales opportunities within the residences to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure team members understand A la Carte revenue targets and receive performance updates.
  • Attend training sessions and hold regular team meetings.
  • Report damages to the Executive Housekeeper and Engineering Department.
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints while keeping the Executive Housekeeper and Front Office supervisors informed.
  • Ensure housekeeping team members understand the A la Carte services available to residents and are skilled in upselling them as a preferred supplier.
  • Ensure team members use residents' and guests' names when greeting them.
  • Communicate with residents, guests, and team members politely and courteously at all times.
  • Provide prompt, caring, and helpful assistance to guests and residents.
  • Anticipate guest and resident needs and respond to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Understand the A la Carte Services marketing program and make recommendations to residents.
  • Actively seek customer feedback to achieve consistent quality and reputation.
  • Maintain adherence to the property's environmental protocols by improving energy and water efficiency, reducing waste, supporting sustainable purchasing, and contributing accurately to compliance requirements.
  • Write and update policies, procedures, and cleaning checklists for the hotel and residential components.
  • Manage par-level stock and usage of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Coordinate purchasing for A la Carte Services and Housekeeping with the finance team according to hotel procedures.
  • Oversee implementation of a training plan for housekeeping and outsourced public-area team members.
  • Monitor and update training records and schedules to ensure planning and completion meet hotel standards.
  • Prepare and conduct employee performance appraisals in collaboration with the Executive Housekeeper.
