AvePoint is excited to provide the opportunity for a Penetration Tester. You should apply for this role if you consider yourself a digital detective and motivated to uncover and prevent cyber threats to protect our business.

• Hands-on with penetration test against infrastructure on-prem and on Cloud for vulnerability, risk and threat hunting, phish testing and escalate to our team for mitigation.
• Experiences with various penetration and red team tools, able to script with PowerShell and Python.
• Analyze and research on Cyber threat and weakness and propose solutions to cybersecurity problems. Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis.
• Experiences with Windows Server and client, AD, AAD, Azure, Office 365, and AWS security measures.
• Experiences with XDR like SentinelOne or CloudStrike.
• Experiences with Network monitors like Zeek or Suricata.
• Experiences with SIEM like Azure Sentinel or Splunk.
• Knowledge of Intune.
• Performs network security audits and testing and evaluates system security configurations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with our IT and development team to advise optimal security practices.
• CISSP preferred.

What you will bring to our team and feel valued for:

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience across multiple cyber security capabilities
• Ability to author technical documentation and perform quality reviews of documents created by developers
• Regularly collaborate with developers in support of stories and technical tasks
• Strong knowledge of diverse operating systems, systems administration, pipelines, cloud workloads, containerization, functions as
