Requirements
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to support revenue generation, achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities, generate leads, conduct sales calls and meetings, and convert prospects into business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging with clients and business partners.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with travel trade partners, clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to support negotiations and develop proposals that meet both client and hotel requirements.
  • Good understanding of leisure travel trends, customer preferences and competitive activity.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, sales activities and follow-ups effectively.
  • Ability to work closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Operations teams to support overall commercial objectives.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management systems and sales platforms for managing accounts, leads and sales activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Willingness to travel for sales calls, trade events, client meetings and industry networking when required.
Responsibilities
  • Support the growth of leisure revenue by identifying and developing business opportunities with affluent travellers, families, leisure groups and other key segments.
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations and site inspections to generate new business and strengthen existing accounts.
  • Support the promotion of packages, offers, seasonal campaigns and other initiatives designed to drive bookings and revenue.
  • Assist in executing leisure sales strategies for Banyan Tree Dubai and Delano Dubai, aligned with the positioning and unique identity of each property.
  • Identify prospective accounts and actively develop new business through calls, meetings, networking and industry events.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing accounts and identify opportunities to increase production.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, luxury travel advisors, destination management companies and other leisure partners.
  • Respond promptly to client enquiries and requests, ensuring a professional and personalised service.
  • Support VIP and high-value leisure clients to encourage repeat business and positive relationships with both brands.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client visits, leads, opportunities and account production.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to the Sales Manager.
  • Identify trends and opportunities within assigned accounts and support actions to improve performance.
  • Keep up to date with leisure travel trends, client preferences and competitor activities.
  • Share relevant market intelligence and feedback with the wider commercial team.
  • Support the identification of new accounts, partnerships and business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and Operations to support commercial initiatives and maximise opportunities.
  • Assist with sales events, trade shows, client functions, familiarisation trips and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure client expectations are understood and a seamless guest experience is delivered from booking through to departure.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in leisure sales, ideally within a luxury hotel, resort, travel agency, tour operator, destination management company or luxury travel company.
  • Experience managing relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, destination management companies, travel advisors and leisure clients.
  • Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and leisure travel.
  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant hospitality or sales qualifications.
  • Previous experience with hotel sales systems.
  • Additional languages such as French, German, Spanish or Arabic.
  • Proactive, energetic and results-oriented, with a genuine passion for luxury hospitality and sales.
  • Confident and personable, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused with a professional and polished approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to the wider team.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
