Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher; focus on finance, communications and/or life science a plus
  • An interest or experience in investor relations or the investment community
  • A minimum of 7 years of work experience (in-house or agency)
  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented and analytical
  • Ability to execute independently in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong ability to consume information and distill into key points
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of internal organization and when communicating externally, including displaying executive presence
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Responsibilities
  • Act as of point of contact for Investor Relations, building relationships both internally within GBT as well as externally with analysts and investors
  • Field incoming calls and meeting requests from analysts and investors to IR team and coordinate meetings for IR and senior executives with investors and analysts
  • Monitor investor relations inquiries and respond/triage questions as needed and appropriate
  • Coordinate and manage investor outreach planning in partnership with the Director of IR, and work closely internally to confirm participation to address investor outreach needs (including meetings, calls, conferences)
  • Manage internal resource needs (conference rooms, internal meetings, technology support, etc.)
  • Prepare briefing documents for all investor meetings, including conference, non-deal roadshows, etc., and provide to senior management
  • Maintain investor relations calendar of earnings dates, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, medical meetings, etc
  • Handle all logistics and provide administrative support for earnings calls, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and other events including registration, securing webcasts, meeting scheduling, etc
  • Project manage R&D Day and other potential IR investor calls/events, including logistics, coordination with venue for all needs and rooming requirements, rehearsal and event execution, honorariums, etc. In some cases, partner closely with internal colleagues and stakeholders to execute events
  • Enter investor meetings into database and produce reports as needed
  • Draft press releases announcing earnings dates and conference participation and issue press releases through external vendor as needed
  • Organize and compile analyst reports for GBT and peers, including analyzing reports and providing key insights to senior management and IR
  • Build knowledge of GBT and industry. Monitor to peer calls and other investor events and provide key takeaways to IR and senior management
  • Partner with external agency to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on schedule
  • Assist with the ensuring GBT's investor relations page of the corporate website is accurate and up to date
  • Assist with planning, logistics and execution of internal events and IR/corporate communications team initiatives, as needed
