Responsibilities
  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
  • Gain a financial commitment from patients to start treatment diagnosed by the Specialist.
  • Achieve proficiency in the PDS system and tools, skills, and talents to assist patients in making the best decision for their wants and needs.
  • Prioritize specialty coordination and consultation and serve as the subject matter expert for treatment plans that include specialty treatment.
  • Proactively manage Specialists’ schedules to ensure they are full, staggered, balanced, and productive, with appropriate treatment paperwork completed.
  • Act as a liaison for office and specialty teams by facilitating communication, schedule considerations, consultations, treatment plan changes, and subsequent patient care, including scheduling follow-up appointments with specialty, general practice, and hygiene teams.
  • Understand and use available financial options to give patients choices for starting dentistry within their budget.
  • Professionally overcome common patient objections to starting treatment before the patient arrives for the specialty appointment.
  • Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations before completing treatment.
  • Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings.
  • Understand specialty goals and metrics, including additional reports used to track key metrics and patient care.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework.
  • Become knowledgeable about the Mouth Body Connection and support clinical excellence through comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies and address others professionally and respectfully.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
