Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with development and evaluating aviation software
  • 1+ years of experience with Technical Standard Order program authorization processes and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and guidance
  • Experience with conducting Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) reviews and in military systems
  • Experience performing certification authority activities per the Military Standard Order (MSO) program
  • Knowledge of Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) DO-229 for equipment certification
  • Ability to be highly motivated, have a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
  • Experience with conducting software reviews per Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) DO-178 and DO-254
  • Experience with reviewing and approving MSO functional data per MSO-C145b, DO-229
  • Experience reviewing certification plans and change impact analyses
  • Ability to develop issue papers and MSOA letters
  • Ability to develop MSO standards and guidance per MSO-C145
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
