Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in robotics or industrial controls, including robot-arm or automated-cell bring-up and integration, motion control, programmable logic controllers or industrial automation, and sensor and actuator integration in a physical setting.
  • Experience with real-time integration, including control loops, input/output, streaming machine state, device and job state modeling, and telemetry using WebSockets, server-sent events, publish/subscribe, fieldbus, or equivalent technologies.
  • Programming experience with Python and/or C++ for robotics and integration work, along with general scripting ability.
  • Ability to build software around hardware, including application programming interfaces, services, and a basic data layer; the stack uses Node, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to work pragmatically in a demo-driven, early-stage environment and own ambiguous problems.
Responsibilities
  • Bring up and integrate robot arms and the surrounding control system, including designing and tuning motion, tooling, sequencing, and safety logic.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, and input/output; build the real-time control and telemetry layer; stream motion and sensor data; model job and device state as explicit state machines; and expose an application programming interface contract for the application and operator console.
  • Stand up and maintain a simulation environment that mirrors the physical cell so work can proceed in parallel with hardware and demonstrations do not depend on a single robot.
  • Integrate vision and perception where required by the task.
  • Write supporting software around the robotics and controls, including services, scripts, and application programming interfaces.
  • Coordinate with the application team against a shared control-plane contract.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building and debugging real Robot Operating System or Robot Operating System 2 nodes, topics, and control loops.
  • Experience with simulation frameworks such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or MuJoCo, including standing up a simulation that meaningfully mirrors real hardware.
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence or machine learning in robotics, including learned policies, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or vision-language-action-style models.
  • Experience with vision and perception, including object detection, pose estimation, hand-eye calibration, simultaneous localization and mapping, or other spatial and localization work, especially on mobile platforms.
  • Experience with functional safety, including emergency-stop logic, safety-rated input/output, and risk assessment for automated equipment.

  • Payments penetration reached 49% in growth engines, lifting transaction revenue 20%.

Lightspeed Commerce buyback complete as analyst fair value hits $12.77, 17% above current price

Lightspeed Commerce reported first quarter results on 30 July alongside fresh revenue guidance for 2026 and 2027, confirming a completed share buyback programme. The TSX-listed payments and commerce platform has seen its share price rise 7.99% over 90 days, though five-year total shareholder returns declined 87.73%. The most followed valuation model sets fair value at C$17.57 per share, above the recent C$14.59 close, suggesting the stock trades at a discount. Accelerating adoption of digital payments and cloud platforms in retail and hospitality continues to drive subscription and transaction revenue growth. However, execution risks remain. The company faces rising competition whilst recording losses of $97.27 million. Analysts point to revenue expansion and margin rebuild as key factors supporting the valuation narrative, though investors must weigh these growth prospects against the company's extended period of weak returns.

Lightspeed and NuORDER make waves at Collective Shows 2026.

Lightspeed and NuORDER make waves at Collective Shows 2026. A recap of its activations, conversations, and connections at this year's Collective Shows in California. Discover a better way to run your wholesale. This July, Lightspeed and NuORDER headed to the Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach for the Summer West edition of Swim + Active Collective, where retailers came to discover new brands and brands came ready to sell. Two days, one incredible coastal backdrop, and no shortage of great conversations later, NuORDER Inc. is still riding the high. Big crowds in the Blue Room NuORDER Inc. welcomed attendees in the Blue Room with live demos of Lightspeed and NuORDER, plus a custom embroidery bar where attendees could personalize their own beach bag on the spot. A hit with the swim-and-sun crowd, the embroidery bar pulled attendees throughout both days and gave its team a chance to get into real conversations about how retailers are buying and brands are selling. "The embroidery station brought a lot of foot traffic to the booth, the beach bags were very much on theme with the show and people loved it! It sparked a lot of conversations for the Lightspeed team, and enabled our NuORDER reps to engage with existing and prospective clients." - Isabella Amodio, Account Executive, NuORDER With live demos of Lightspeed Wholesale - the seamless integration between Lightspeed POS and NuORDER's B2B platform - its booth became a hub for showing brands and retailers how its connected ecosystem brings wholesale buying and retail operations together in a single workflow. Center stage at the Collective runway show The Collective fashion show was one of the week's standout moments, and Lightspeed and NuORDER were proud to sponsor it. Its own Isabella Amodio took the stage to welcome attendees, thank the Collective team for bringing together such an inspiring community, and to speak to the importance of events like these in helping retailers discover emerging activewear and swimwear brands before they hit the mainstream. Turnout for the welcome was strong, and it was a great opportunity for NuORDER to get in front of a room full of retailers and brands right before the lights went down. A floor full of emerging talent This edition of Collective Shows highlighted a strong mix of emerging and established brands across swimwear, activewear and athleisure. Day one brought a steady rush of buyers to the floor, with energy and appointments both running high. Day two settled into a slower pace, giving its team more time for the kind of deeper conversations that don't happen when a booth is three-deep. NuORDER Inc. met a range of established brands alongside plenty of smaller, growing labels that NuORDER Inc. expect to be ready for a wholesale solution as they scale. That mix is exactly what makes Collective Shows valuable: it brings together the brands shaping what's next and the retailers looking for smarter ways to discover and buy them. Already looking forward to the next one This year's Collective Shows was a great reminder of why in-person moments matter so much for buyers and brands in activewear and swim: the connections that start over a custom tote bag or booth demo have a way of turning into real business. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by its booth, picked up a bag, or caught its welcome remarks ahead of the runway show. If you missed NuORDER Inc. in California, NuORDER Inc.'d still love to connect. For retailers looking to bring that same sense of clarity and confidence to their own buying season, its assortment tools are built to help. Inside this post
