Requirements
  • 2 years of CMM Programming Experience (PCDMS++ preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality within the Aerospace or Automotive Industry
  • Associates Degree preferred, but not required
  • Specialized training within the quality assurance discipline preferred
  • Training in AS9100 and/or ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • Ability to read blueprints, manufacturing blueprints, and GD&T
Responsibilities
  • Carry out programming of CMM machines including coordinating of work flow throughout the process
  • Evaluate, develop, and complete inspection reports and assist in the development of remedial action plans to insure conformance to specifications and standards
  • Interface with various personnel regarding the use and setup of the CMM machines
  • Develop and assist others in the development of procedures and working instructions
  • Contribute to overall cost reduction/avoidance through participation in the internal corrective and preventive action system
  • Ensure compliance with all written standards
  • Participate in Lean Continuous Improvement events
