Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in field related to the position or equivalent training and experience plus a minimum of 5 years of progressive related experience.
  • Must be able to perform a crawl, duck walk, run, and occasionally lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Able to apply knowledge of principles, concepts and theory related to the position to address issues and to define and resolve problems.
  • Able to apply knowledge and experience to resolve problems and accomplish goals where established procedures may not be specific.
  • Able to exercise discretion and sound judgment in performing work and contribute recommendations for improving operations/processes.
  • Must be highly organized and able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, accomplish work, and meet required deadlines.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all type of people in a tactful, professional, and effective manner while screening and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Able to remember extensive policies, procedures, terminology, schedules, personnel, and other details.
  • Able to use software applications needed in the position, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, etc. and general office equipment.
  • Able to deal with pressure of handling multiple tasks, complaints, frequent interruptions, and time constraints.
Responsibilities
  • Under limited direction, create, execute and document in SharePoint, applicable test plans and test reports.
  • Participate and support all aspects of planning, coordination, scheduling, and conduct for performance tests to include Protective Force (PF), Physical Security Systems (PSS), Nuclear Material Control and Accountability (NMC&A), and Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS). Evaluates the effectiveness of specific plans to address threats. Evaluates the effectiveness of training and supervision programs to prepare and manage Protective Force personnel in the performance of specified tasks.
  • Participate and support exercise program, ensuring compliance in accordance with DOE Order (O) 473.2A, Protective Force Operations, DOE O 470.4B, Safeguards and Security Programs, DOE O 151.1D, Comprehensive Emergency Management Program and other applicable directives.
  • Participate and support conducting Limited Scope Performance Tests (LSPTs), Limited Notice Performance Tests (LNPTs), Alarm Response and Assessment Performance Tests (ARAPT) and document results which are provided to the Technical Analysis Section.
  • Participate and support NMC&A performance testing in accordance with DOE O 474.2A and other applicable directives.
  • Participate and support Physical Security Systems effectiveness testing, return to service and acceptance testing in accordance with DOE O 473.1A and other applicable directives.
  • Participate and support CUAS effectiveness testing in accordance with Orders and directives.
  • Provide support for formal test documentation.
  • Report performance testing program changes and makes recommendations on organization and staffing requirements.
  • Participation in the Human Reliability Program is required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.
