IDeaS named a Leader in inaugural IDC MarketScape for hospitality Revenue Management Systems.

IDeaS named a Leader in inaugural IDC MarketScape for hospitality Revenue Management Systems. MINNEAPOLIS - July 16, 2026 - IDeaS, a SAS company and a provider of AI-powered hospitality revenue management software, today announced it has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Revenue Management Systems in Hospitality 2026 Vendor Assessment.[1] The recognition comes as hospitality revenue management enters a new era, evolving from standalone pricing tools into integrated commercial intelligence platforms. According to the IDC MarketScape, "The hospitality revenue management system market is at a genuine inflection point. The convergence of AI maturity, platform consolidation, and expanding commercial scope is redefining what an RMS is expected to do and for whom." Dorothy Creamer, Senior Research Manager, Hospitality and Travel Strategies, IDC, noted: "Differentiation emerges with vendors that believe genuine automation requires a rigorous forecasting foundation, not just rules that appear to run themselves." The IDC MarketScape further highlights IDeaS' broader commercial capabilities, noting that "the company has built a portfolio of commercial capabilities around its core RMS, spanning business intelligence, total revenue planning, portfolio management, function space optimization, and marketing demand management." From Automation to Decision Intelligence "This is a turning point for hospitality," said Dr. Ravi Mehrotra, President, Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at IDeaS. "The industry is moving beyond surface-level automation toward decision intelligence built on rigorous forecasting science, explainable AI and connected data. Hotels don't need more recommendations; they need confidence in every decision they make across the business. That's the shift I believe this recognition reflects." Mehrotra continued, "As pressure mounts to respond faster to changing market conditions, hotels are rethinking how they connect revenue decisions with broader commercial strategy. We believe the IDC MarketScape emphasizes that the most effective systems are those that balance advanced automation with transparency and control, enabling teams to act quickly while maintaining trust in the underlying models." Beyond Pricing: A Broader Commercial Role The IDC MarketScape also highlights a clear industry shift: "The hospitality technology stack has gotten thornier, with more integrations, more booking channels, and simply more data sources that are often highly siloed and fragmented." That shift is already accelerating. IDeaS recently reported strong adoption of its broader commercial strategy solutions, reflecting growing demand for technologies that unify revenue, marketing, sales and operational decisions into a single, coordinated approach. And as hotel teams are increasingly tasked with making faster, more complex decisions across multiple functions, IDeaS continues to expand its capabilities to meet this need. By bringing together revenue management, business intelligence, financial planning and portfolio-level insight into a unified commercial framework, IDeaS helps organizations make more confident decisions across the business. But as these commercial decisions become increasingly AI-driven, confidence depends not only on automation but also on understanding how and why decisions are made. Trust as the Foundation of AI-driven Decisions As AI adoption accelerates, explainability has become a defining requirement for revenue management. The report highlights that revenue managers must be able to understand and defend the logic behind system-driven recommendations, reinforcing the importance of transparency alongside automation. "AI without trust is just noise," added Mehrotra. "The future belongs to systems that don't just automate decisions, but make them understandable, actionable and aligned with how hotels actually operate." IDeaS sees rapid adoption of commercial strategy solutions as hotels expand beyond traditional revenue management.

IDeaS sees rapid adoption of commercial strategy solutions as hotels expand beyond traditional revenue management. More than 1,600 hotels adopted Rate Data Advantage within 100 days of launch, while nearly 40% of IDeaS' independent hotel, small group and regional chain clients have implemented Optix. MINNEAPOLIS - June 16, 2026 - IDeaS, a SAS company and the world's leading provider of AI-powered hospitality revenue management software, today announced significant momentum in the adoption of its broader commercial strategy solutions, highlighting a growing industry shift toward connected decision-making that extends well beyond traditional revenue management. The announcement comes as hotel organizations face increasing pressure to navigate market volatility, staffing constraints, evolving traveler demand patterns, and growing expectations for data-driven decision-making across commercial functions. As teams are increasingly tasked with connecting revenue, marketing, sales and operational strategies, hoteliers are investing in technologies that provide a more unified view of business performance and market opportunities. Recent adoption data underscores this accelerating shift toward more connected commercial decision-making: * More than 1,600 hotels have adopted Rate Data Advantage (RDA) an AI-powered market intelligence solution that provides visibility into market pricing dynamics to support more informed commercial decision-making, within the first 100 days of its launch. * Nearly 40 percent of independent hotels, small groups and regional chains within the IDeaS client community now leverage Optix to gain faster visibility into business performance and commercial opportunities. Independent hotels, small groups and regional chains have been among the fastest adopters of these solutions, as they are leveraging technology to build more sophisticated commercial strategies without adding significant organizational complexity, reflecting a broader shift from isolated data analysis to coordinated commercial action. Ruth Eddy, Revenue Manager, Bavarian Inn Lodge, said: "Optix has really allowed me to look at the data in an easier and more effective way. I'm no longer spending time collating data I need to review - instead I have it readily available and can put strategies into play a lot faster." Eddy adds, "Without IDeaS, we might not have been prepared and could have missed potential revenue that we didn't anticipate." IDeaS will showcase RDA, Optix and more at HITEC 2026 as part of its expanding suite of commercial strategy solutions, demonstrating how hotel organizations of all sizes can bring together forecasting, market intelligence, marketing and performance insights to support faster, more informed commercial decisions. Expanding the Commercial Technology Stack Rather than relying solely on traditional revenue management practices like pricing and inventory optimization, hotel organizations are seeking tools that help them better understand market dynamics, align cross-functional decisions and identify opportunities for profitable growth. IDeaS is continuously expanding its portfolio of commercial strategy solutions to support these objectives through capabilities including: * Market intelligence with Rate Data Advantage (RDA), providing deeper visibility into competitive pricing activity and market dynamics. * Performance insights with Optix, helping teams quickly identify trends, opportunities and areas requiring attention. * Budgeting and forecasting with RevPlan, creating a centralized view of performance expectations and business plans. * Group and event space strategies with Function Space, helping hotels maximize the value of high-demand function and event inventory. * Marketing optimization with Spotlight, enabling hotel marketing teams to align campaigns and spend with forecasted demand opportunities. By connecting data and insights across traditionally siloed functions, these organizations can make faster decisions, improve alignment and respond more effectively to changing market conditions. Dr. Ravi Mehrotra, President, Founder & Chief Scientist, IDeaS, said: "We're witnessing a fundamental shift in hospitality. Revenue management is evolving into commercial strategy, and hotel organizations are looking for technology that helps connect decisions across revenue, marketing, sales and operations. The rapid adoption of solutions like Rate Data Advantage and Optix demonstrates that hoteliers want more than insights - they want the ability to act on them. The future belongs to organizations that can bring together data, intelligence and execution across the entire commercial function." At Booth #3026, HITEC attendees can explore how IDeaS is helping hotels evolve from traditional revenue management to connected commercial strategy. IDeaS expands integration with Stayntouch PMS to power smarter, value-driven availability decisions.

IDeaS expands integration with Stayntouch PMS to power smarter, value-driven availability decisions. Summary. You can now access IDeaS' Last Room Value within Stayntouch's cloud PMS to dynamically set a value-based rate hurdle for your final rooms, optimizing total booking value as availability tightens. The integration automates pricing and length-of-stay decisions without manual intervention, letting smaller teams make real-time revenue-maximizing choices amid fluctuating demand. This enhancement to cloud PMS and revenue management platforms introduces a dynamic, value-based hurdle, powered by IDeaS Last Room Value MINNEAPOLIS - May 5, 2026 - IDeaS, a SAS company and the world's leading provider of AI-powered hospitality revenue management software, today introduced Last Room Value (LRV)-powered availability and length-of-stay decisions within Stayntouch's Best-in-Class cloud property management system (PMS). This enhancement brings advanced revenue decision-making within reach for lean teams across independent hotels and growing portfolios. In a time of shifting demand and economic uncertainty, LRV helps hotels confidently decide which bookings to accept as availability tightens, so remaining rooms are reserved for stays that deliver meaningful total value, without adding complexity or manual work for commercial teams. In today's environment, many hotel teams are being asked to do more with less. For leaner teams in particular, managing pricing and inventory decisions alongside daily operations can be a constant challenge. LRV helps bridge that gap by streamlining the execution of pricing and inventory strategies, so teams can focus on running their business and delivering great guest experiences. Powered by IDeaS' industry-leading revenue management system (RMS), LRV dynamically calculates a value-based rate hurdle for a hotel's final available rooms within each category. As availability tightens, the system evaluates each incoming booking against that value to help hotels confidently accept the right business and avoid leaving revenue on the table. Importantly, this happens behind the scenes, without requiring constant oversight or manual rule-setting. Now available directly within Stayntouch's PMS through availability and length-of-stay controls, LRV gives smaller and midsized hotel operators access to the kind of intelligent decision-making typically reserved for large enterprise brands. By tracking sold rooms in Stayntouch and applying delta changes from IDeaS, the PMS supports more responsive execution of IDeaS' dynamic LRV functionality. The result is more consistent performance, less reliance on rigid, manually set controls like blanket minimum length of stay rules, and greater peace of mind for hotel teams. Additional key benefits include: * Optimizes total booking value, not just nightly rate, by aligning pricing and availability decisions * Confidence in every booking decision as demand fluctuates * Reduces manual work, freeing up staff to focus on guests versus spreadsheets * More flexible inventory management without overreliance on restrictive rules * Built-in protection for high-value rooms, even when teams are off the clock Klaus Kohlmayr, Chief Evangelist and Development Officer, IDeaS, said: "Today's hoteliers are operating in a world where conditions can change overnight. Last Room Value gives them a safety net, ensuring they're supported in making the best possible revenue decisions in the moment, without needing deep expertise or constant attention. By bringing LRV directly into Stayntouch's PMS, we're making sophisticated revenue optimization both accessible and practical for hotels of all sizes." Nicki Dehler, SVP of Product, Stayntouch, said: "We're excited to partner with IDeaS to bring their powerful Last Room Value capabilities directly into our cloud PMS. With LRV, hotel operators from independent properties to large portfolios can make smarter pricing and availability decisions, helping them maximize revenue without sacrificing the guest experience. This partnership is another step in our ongoing effort to expand integrations across the hospitality ecosystem, giving hoteliers more flexibility and control over how they run their properties." IDeaS and Hotel Insider announce rate shopping integration partnership.

IDeaS and Hotel Insider announce rate shopping integration partnership. Competitive rate intelligence with deep local expertise integrated into revenue workflows to support faster, more confident commercial decisions. ATHENS - 29 April 2026 - IDeaS, a SAS company and the world's leading provider of AI-powered hospitality revenue management software, today announced a technology integration partnership with Hotel Insider, a trusted provider of competitive rate shopping insights known for its deep market intelligence and widely used by hotels across Greek and Mediterranean leisure markets. The integration connects Hotel Insider's granular market-specific rate intelligence with IDeaS' revenue management solutions, helping hotel commercial teams spend less time chasing data and more time making confident, high-impact decisions. By reducing the need for manual rate checks and disconnected workflows, the integration supports more efficient, market-aware revenue strategies. For many hotel teams, especially across seasonal leisure destinations, revenue management involves coordinating pricing, distribution, and broader commercial strategy in markets where conditions can change quickly. Additionally, competitive rate intelligence exists outside of the revenue management workflow - requiring time-consuming validation and interpretation before it can be applied. This partnership helps address that challenge by embedding rate shopping insights directly into the IDeaS ecosystem, so teams can respond to market changes with greater speed and confidence. By removing friction from the rate shopping process, the integration not only improves efficiency, but also helps alleviate the day-to-day pressure on commercial teams - freeing them to focus on strategy, creativity, and delivering stronger business outcomes. Additional key benefits of the partnership for hoteliers include: * Greater confidence in pricing decisions with real-time, localized competitive context * Faster access to in-depth competitive rate insights within the revenue management workflow * Reduced manual effort and fewer disconnected systems for commercial teams * Clearer market context to support pricing decisions across demand conditions Victor Matsas, Co-Founder, Hotel Insider, said: "In high-demand leisure markets, every pricing decision carries weight. Hotel commercial teams need competitive insights they can trust and act on quickly and confidently. By integrating Hotel Insider with IDeaS, we're helping hotels reduce complexity in the rate shopping process and focus on making informed pricing decisions that reflect real market conditions." Michael McCartan, Area Vice President, EMEA, at IDeaS, said: "Behind every pricing decision is a person navigating constant change. This integration is about supporting those individuals and reflects our continued focus on helping hotel teams make better, more connected commercial decisions. By combining Hotel Insider's strong regional insights with IDeaS' decision intelligence, we're helping hotel teams move forward with greater certainty in even the most dynamic markets."
