Your Purpose as an Accounting Clerk:
- Bill all new and used car deals and post into accounting.
- Receipt all monies received for tags, wholesales, dealer trades.
- Organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness (signatures, verify VIN, etc.).
- Process pay-off checks for trade-ins in a timely manner.
- Process dealer trades in and out.
- Process Title paperwork and registrations as soon as money is received.
- Process contracts and related vehicle sales documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accounting schedules, reconcile differences and make journal entry adjustments as needed.
- Order supplies as needed.
- Assist the controller with month end reconciliations.
- Complete the daily deposit and post banking.
- Kansas tax reconciliations.
- Process product cancellations as needed.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
