Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA/CA or equivalent (preferred).
  • 4 to 6+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting activities and book closures.
  • Complete knowledge of finance activities, like preparation of PL, Balance Sheet, Statutory Requirements as per local regulations, etc.
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain secure storage of financial information.
  • Prepare supporting information for annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
  • Regularly meet with the Finance Manager to improve processes, turnaround time, etc.
  • Assist in managing the studio P&L efficiently, providing relevant financial insights and analysis.
  • Maintain financial records for Los Angeles/Line of Business to facilitate management reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation by providing relevant information regularly.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual departments.
