Reservations Agent - Air
Pleasant Holidays, one of the largest travel wholesalers in the United States specializing in vacation travel to the Hawaiian Islands, Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, South Pacific (Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand & Tahiti), Japan & Asia, the United States & Canada, and cruise vacations worldwide, is seeking an Air By Pleasant Reservations Sales Agent.
Pleasant Holidays is a subsidiary of the Automobile Club of Southern California, a diversified insurance, roadside assistance, financial services and travel organization serving AAA Members for more than 100 years.
Primary Duties:
Answer incoming calls and emails from travel agents and direct passengers and assist in booking reservations, offer flight protection and take payment
Process schedule changes or cancel existing reservations
Review updated and new airline contracts to ensure proper knowledge of booking procedures
Other duties as assigned by management
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of Apollo preferred
Airline contract knowledge helpful
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks
Detail oriented
Ability to work well with people, to include co-workers, management, outer departments and customers
HOURS/SHIFT: 8-hour workday; non-exempt/hourly. Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts/weekend rotation
Agents earn a rate of $17.50 per hour plus commission eligible with unlimited earning potential; most earn between $21 - $23, hourly.
