Requirements
  • BS or MA degree in human resources, education, instructional design or similar.
  • Experience with learning platforms preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Lesson and project planning skills.
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively; self-motivated and ability to organize to meet deadlines or competing priorities/projects.
  • Ability to influence and work in a collaborative work environment that is focused on results.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
  • Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Elucidat or other instructional design platform experience preferred.
Responsibilities
  • First point of contact to respond to general UFactor inquiries or direct to appropriate area, including responding to general email inbox; assist stakeholders with event registration, course completion, technical requirements.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning activities and compelling course content, instructional materials and curriculum that enhances retention and transfer of knowledge.
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs.
  • Partners to develop training programs that help with company culture, pride in our company and products and that helps to reduce turnover.
  • Works collaboratively to automate, innovate, and streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the department. Considers digital applicability and potential in all business processes.
  • Plan events to support learning and development.
  • Assist the design instructional end goals and create content that matches them.
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods.
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
  • Decide on the criteria used to evaluate learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments.
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders.
  • Analyze learning data and feedback to continuously improve instructional materials and enhance learner engagement.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Stay current on Learning trends and learning management tools.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
