We are looking for a talented and skilled Operations Engineer and Infrastructure Developer to join our team. You love to write code used in operation and will be working with infrastructure management including automation and development of supporting applications. You like to work with all the exciting and tough problems that come with working with a rapidly growing big data site doing operations 24/7/365 in the cloud. You will be part of a global team and work closely together with colleagues in the Philippines, Sweden and US.

You also love new stuff! At Recorded Future you will get a chance to play with new technology, evaluate it and see what’s most appropriate for solving real-world problems. You have at least a couple of years of experience in operations and coding. You are a self-starter and have good communication skills.

What you will be doing as a DevOps Engineer:

• Based in our Somerville office, or remote, you will be working in a global delivery team for integrations, tools and related environments
• Active member of the Internal Tools team, which provides cloud-hosted solutions to support a huge variety of engineers at Recorded Future, across many disciplines
• Support the  team members in Premier Integrations Product teamwith Dev and QA environments for selected integration platforms
• Building and deploying servers for development, test and demo environments of various 3rd party platforms as part of the Premier Integrations Product team
• Automating provisioning of selected 3rd party platforms to simplify standing up new environments
• Maintain and monitor demo environments used by the field when demoing to customers and prospects
• Debugging issues and solving problems in the supported environments
• Provide input to planning, estimates and work break down
• Help architect a cutting edge cloud-hosting environment
• Take lead on and drive prioritized work packages
• Provide documentation for the technical area, great writing skills a strong plus
• Code reviews and review of solution for new implementation and improvements
• Hold knowledge sharing sessions and training

What you will need as a DevOps Engineer:

• Minimum 2 years experience working in relevant area
• Relevant education or experience, M Sc or equivalent
• Strong UNIX skills and an understanding of the UNIX philosophy
• Quick learner and ability to take on new technologies and tools
• Solid experience in setting up and maintaining cloud based environments on AWS as well as account management and structure on AWS
• Experience with software development or scripting, preferably with Ruby or Python 
• Architectural experience in designing new proposals and solutions, and the technical writing abilities this requires
• Experience working with infrastructure automation technologies as Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, etc.
• Experience in working with various security platforms as Splunk, Phantom, XSOAR/Demisto, MISP, qRadar, Arcsight, Resilient is a plus
• Experience with Docker and/or ECS is  a plus
