Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 15 Years’ Experience in the AEC industry required with familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements, ensuring that proposals and marketing efforts are tailored to this sector.
  • Proven experience in proposal management and development with demonstrated ability to manage and develop proposals, including federal, state, and local RFP responses as well as design-build RFQ solicitations.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team of marketing professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar CRM/proposal tracking platforms preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a client-focused mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the firmwide proposal process, including facilitating go/no-go decisions, gathering input from technical and leadership teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality, and competitive submissions.
  • Oversees preparation of reports and presents them to firm leadership to help track key outcomes and goal accomplishment.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and day-to-day oversight for a team of proposal and marketing professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
  • Take a hands-on role in developing responses to complex RFPs, RFQs, and interview presentations that align with client needs and showcase our strengths.
  • Maintain and improve proposal procedures, templates, and content libraries to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Oversee lead monitoring, daily opportunity tracking, and reporting to keep teams aligned and focused on priority pursuits.
  • Partner with firm leadership and technical staff to build trusted relationships and ensure collaborative, client-focused strategies.
  • Lead or support the development of marketing plans and coordinate periodic marketing team meetings.
