Requirements
  • One to three years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • The position requires a Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, type and read from a computer screen, and perform bending, reaching, and kneeling as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure contract actions comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and Navy policies.
  • Administer contracts, including preparing Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, Technical Direction Letters, and Technical Instructions, and tracking obligations, expenditures, and deliverables.
  • Evaluate and review contract terms and conditions.
  • Maintain contractual databases accurately.
  • Coordinate with Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, and Contracting Officer's Representatives.
  • Track contract funding, obligations, and expenditures.
  • Assist with cost analysis and evaluation of contractor proposals.
  • Support preparation of contract documentation.
  • Assist PMW 120 in developing contracting strategies for contracts.
  • Track contract actions and schedules and provide a weekly status report.
