Requirements
  • An Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Public Administration, or a related field in Human Resources, or Business Administration, with 1 to 3 years of experience in human resources administration, recruitment, training, and benefits.
  • Knowledge of multiple applicant tracking systems, performance management tools, and training platforms.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Knowledge of federal and state leave and accommodation laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and keep sensitive information private.
  • Ability to track and organize employee information and certifications accurately.
  • Ability to respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate events.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general Human Resources administrative tasks, including filing new-hire folders and maintaining organized personnel records.
  • Respond promptly and timely to employee inquiries, including changes and updates.
  • Provide recruitment support by screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Support recruitment activities, including career fairs and recruitment outreach activities.
  • Coordinate benefits administration, including benefits packets, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Assist with annual open-enrollment communications, informational presentations, and distribution of benefits information.
  • Reconcile service invoices for Human Resources Manager review and submit them to Accounts Payable for processing.
  • Review employee files for accuracy during onboarding and ensure online and physical records are complete and properly maintained.
  • Process employee terminations and ensure departing staff receive necessary position and separation information.
  • Support the Human Resources team with event coordination, including training and employee-engagement initiatives.
  • Administer leave-of-absence and Americans with Disabilities Act accommodations processes in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Perform related work as required.
