  • University degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years industrial experience in BI Analytics or Reporting
  • Experience working in the P+C insurance industry, with excellent understanding of personal insurance
  • Proven ability to adopt and lead change, be highly adaptable and flexible, decisive and display excellent judgment

Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships of trust and mutual respect with colleagues and collaborate closely with them
  • Foster an environment of continuous engagement with distribution, actuarial, pricing, analytics, underwriting, operations, marketing, communications, claims, IT, finance, and others
  • Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of the business
  • Analyze financial/sales results to identify root cause and implement initiatives to drive positive performance
  • Monitor company, industry, economic and legislative developments and recommend changes in strategies or procedures as necessary
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to define and drive business intelligence and analytics, leading to insights which will drive performance improvement
  • Acquires clear understanding of business needs and strategy with ability to communicate and complete requirements
  • Sets data and reporting management design, monitoring, and governance
  • Initiates and maintains roadmaps for data management and business intelligence strategy by keeping current with changes happening internally and externally
  • Develop, lead, and manage various key projects and assignments as required, including business case development, strategic oversight, and management
  • Support the wider Business Insights team providing coaching and mentorship to junior members and helping build and maintain analytical skills across the team
