Salary Range: $134,200.00 - $160,000.00 *

The Technical Project Manager is a critical member of the Innovation, Systems, and Data department, responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of technical projects. This role involves managing cross-departmental initiatives, aligning project goals with business objectives, and ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. The Technical Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing clear communication, documentation, and updates to all parties involved. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager is expected to stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and critical paths to ensure smooth project execution.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate resolution of conflicts or challenges.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business units.
Execution and Monitoring:
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, addressing deviations from plans.
- Oversee testing, deployment, and transition phases to ensure successful handoff to operations.
Communication and Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders and management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project artifacts.
- Foster transparent communication to ensure alignment and awareness across teams.
Technology Awareness and Process Improvement:
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project efficiency and quality.

Minimum Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Current (not expired) PMP certification or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience running large-scale projects with business-wide impacts using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to successfully manage, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple projects currently using sound judgment and stakeholder input to meet time-sensitive and aggressive deadlines.
- Expert knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management, staff, and a variety of external entities including vendors and clients.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure at all times in challenging circumstances.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Technical proficiency to understand and communicate complex systems, integrations, and processes.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, enabling effective testing, validation, and implementation of solutions.

Physical Demands
Writing, typing, reading, speaking, hearing, seeing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs.
Working Conditions
The Technical Project Manager primarily works offsite in a remote capacity. The remote work location must be professional and presentable to ensure effective virtual collaboration and representation.
When onsite, the work environment is a workspace located in a high-rise building.
The role involves being seated for the majority of the time, with standard office equipment and resources provided to perform job duties efficiently. Minimal physical activity is required beyond normal office tasks.
