- Hands-on experience in source to target mapping between Data Warehouse and target data mart universe databases.
- Actively participate with project team in requirements gathering and analysis.
- Work with Business Analysts, Developers, ETL and Data Warehouse engineers to validate ETL scripts.
- Create, execute and debug SQL queries to perform data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing.
- Prepare and review test conditions, test cases and test scripts.
- Execute test cases and scripts and maintain testing artifacts.
- Log and track defects to closure.
- Experience using test automation tools is a plus.
- Experience testing data for data marts, data warehouses or ETL tools such as BusinessObjects Data Integrator, Informatica is a plus.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of data warehouse/Database testers is desired but not strictly required.
- 3 to 5 years of testing experience.
- Knowledge of telecom domain and charging and billing systems is a plus.
- Desirable tools include Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Informatica, BusinessObjects Data Integrator, Unix, Toad, PL/SQL or SQL Developer, HP ALM, HP Quality Center or QuickTest Professional / Automation tools.
