- B.S. / M.S. degree with 3-6+ years with relative industry or academic experience
- Hands on experience and proficiency in rodent handling, necropsy and administering drugs through various routes.
- Small animal surgery is a plus.
- Knowledge of IACUC procedures and regulation.
- Hands on experience in general lab aseptic techniques, cell handling and maintenance and tissue culture.
- Strong motivation with a dedicated work ethic.
- PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Standing, walking, working in the lab, working with rodent animals.
- Perform research in small rodent disease models including syngeneic tumors and NOD autoimmune diabetes.
- Perform cell culture techniques.
- Perform meticulous record keeping and attend group meetings.
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, deliver high quality results and manage time effectively.
- Previous training or experience in immunology, oncology or drug development is a plus.
