Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Current Massachusetts Clinical Psychologist license
  • Skilled in treating complex adult patients across the lifespan with a vast range of psychiatric diagnoses, using different theoretical orientations and treatment modalities (including but not limited to CBT, DBT, MI, Problem Solving Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy); Proficiency in individual and group psychotherapy is required
  • Experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary settings and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to program development, quality of care, and patient safety
  • Vaccination against influenza is required as a condition of employment
Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient care to patients and their families including assessment, consultation, individual and group short-term and long-term evidence-based psychotherapy.
  • Contribute to training programs within the Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine division.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and Nurse Practitioners.
  • Engage in teaching, supervision and research activities as part of the academic appointment.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
