- Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
- Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and construction-phase documentation.
- Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction observations.
- Identify and resolve design, code, and constructability issues with practical engineering solutions.
- Support commissioning, inspections, punch-list activities, and project closeout.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, energy requirements, and client specifications.
- Maintain high standards of technical accuracy, quality, and documentation.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience; 10+ years preferred.

- Strong technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering, architectural, and construction teams.
- Hands-on HVAC and mechanical design experience is required.
- Experience with healthcare, municipal, institutional, veterinary, or other complex facilities is preferred.
- Candidates whose background is primarily project management without significant mechanical design experience will not be considered.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Retirement savings plan with company contribution.
- Paid time off and company holidays.
- Continuing education and professional development support.
- Opportunity to work on technically challenging commercial and institutional projects.
