Requirements
  • 10-15+ years of strategic finance/FP&A experience at a high-growth startup
  • ideally including 2+ years of consulting/banking/investing

Responsibilities
  • Establish and drive financial planning processes, ensuring resource allocation stays within budget and forecasts linked to strategic goals
  • Oversee the company-wide operating model, ensuring inputs linked to growth and profitability for annual planning/budgeting and monthly forecasting
  • Perform robust financial analysis on financial results and operating key performance indicators, identifying trends and areas of opportunity
  • Design and deliver monthly/quarterly reporting packages that tell the story behind the numbers for the executive team and Board
  • Optimize systems to ensure automation of critical processes as the company scales
  • Support competitive intelligence, Mergers and Acquisitions and other corporate development initiatives
  • Hire and develop a high-performing FP&A team to support the needs of the business
  • Drive capital allocation strategy, cash management, and expense governance
  • Support investor reporting, due diligence, and board-level discussions

  • Formal education or certifications in finance (e.g., CFA)

The product connects patients and providers through insurance-enabled matching and handles the related paperwork and billing so care can be more affordable and straightforward. Unlike networks that only list providers, Headway actively streamlines both sides of the process by coordinating with health plans and practices to maximize in-network care.
