IT DESKTOP SUPPORT INTERNSHIP

Duration: Minimum 6 months

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent academic background in Information System, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems where it pertains to troubleshooting and application based troubleshooting
• Some understanding of Microsoft Technology:  Active Directory, Exchange, DFS, WDS, WSUS, SCCM
• General programming skills such as PowerShell, python, etc. which can help with automation scripting is highly desired
• Some knowledge of MacOS and other Apple devices
• Some knowledge of Networking (DNS, Subnets, Basic troubleshooting)
• Ability to understand a ticketing system
• Capable of hands on work such as cabling, racking equipment, configuring desktop setups 
• Highly motivated and tenacious individual, with a proven ability to take initiative and work independently and within a team​
• Team Player: authentic, genuine person who is capable of working collective goals.
• Willingness to learn and broaden knowledge of enterprise level systems beyond Desktop support
