Requirements

6+ years of program management experience in software/web development organizations with direct experience managing cross-functional teams and projects
High EQ and executive presence: you are able to collaborate with and influence designers, product managers, engineering teams and key stakeholders from different business functions
Ability to plan and deliver end-to-end programs with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies
Ability to succeed and thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment
Ability to make clear recommendations/decisions using logic and data analysis
A strong sense of ownership and ability to chase down details that lead to a successful product delivery

Responsibilities

Own successful delivery of large-impact initiatives in partnership with design, product, analytics, and engineering
Drive program planning by closely partnering with Square teams to develop program plans, dependency identifications, and resourcing plans
Help bring stakeholders to alignment on key issues using a large toolkit including structure, logic, data, clear communications, and emotional intelligence
Plan and facilitate alignment meetings such as project kick-offs, weekly check-ins, testing, etc… to make communication easy and transparent
Proactively identify challenges and risks, working closely with a cross-functional team to address and mitigate them
Effectively communicate program plans, status, risks, and mitigations to the broader team

Experience with integration and/or migration projects is a plus

Job Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager - Omnichannel Commerce, you will be a key member of our product organization, driving the planning and delivery of our product portfolio from vision to launch. You will report to the GM and be responsible for leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives- driving alignment, communication, and execution between stakeholders such as engineering, product management, design, analytics, and customer-facing teams. Your first program will be helping to lead one of the highest-priority initiatives across Square. Ideal team members have a proven track record of delivering highly technical, cross-functional, scalable programs, with meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills that can be applied to any challenge, task, or opportunity.

You will:
