Frpc – Direct Bill Coordinator

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Direct Bill Coordinator to their team in Destin, Florida.

Job Summary:

The Direct Bill Coordinator is responsible for entering commission payment related activities. They provide daily operational support for administering the commission plans to ensure timely and accurate payment. This includes partnering closely with other departments in support of the monthly commission pay process,  successful  generation of pay files, reconciling commissions, and management of statements.

Essential Functions:

• Enter producer commission from carriers to ensure transactional accuracy and enhance efficiency of the accounting process
• Detect errors or inaccuracies in documents and report activity to upper management
• Enter and check all relevant data input into accounting software to ensure accuracy of commission statements
• Resolves complaints regarding financial transactions or late payments
• Monitor the accounting system, report technical faults to IT, and issue commission paychecks

• Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite notably Excel

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
•  Prefer insurance industry experience
