BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related experience
2+ years of experience in related field
Experience with scripting and automation (Python, bash, or other scripting languages)
Experience configuring and maintaining monitoring tools and solutions (Icinga2, Nagios, ELK, Splunk)
Experience creating and working with dashboarding and notification systems (Grafana, Opsgenie)
Understanding of the Linux operating system at the administration level (Debian, CentOS)
Practical experience with container-based technology (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with infrastructure management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
Proficient with code collaboration tools (git, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket)
Solid understanding of IaC tools and when you might use them (Terraform)
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
This position requires physical presence and is onsite (no remote work)

Responsibilities

Designing and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines for our trading platform components
Building and maintaining infrastructure monitoring and alerting systems to help us quickly diagnose and resolve issues
Collaborating with and advising co-workers on designing applications and platform components to meet automation requirements
Ensuring that software and infrastructure components are up-to-date and free of any security vulnerabilities
Systematizing and then documenting new and existing processes to help us tame our ever-changing IT operations
Working on automated provisioning of new servers and updating existing ones
Troubleshooting and providing support with managed systems and tools
Working as part of an in-office team to collaborate directly with our experienced traders and technologists on brainstorming and implementing creative solutions to a wide range of problems

Desired Qualifications

Understanding of automated provisioning tools (PXE, Foreman) is a plus
