Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or manufacturing discipline and (2) two or more years of handling and knowledge of test equipment and/or Metrology in a private, public, government or military environment experience
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and (6) six years of related to handling and knowledge of test equipment and/or Metrology in a private, public, government or military environment experience
  • Statistical knowledge.
  • Knowledge or certification to ISO 17025, USP, NIST, or other calibration standards.
  • Prior quality experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
Responsibilities
  • Qualify test methods using cross-over, Gauge R&R and Validations.
  • Experience in performing calibrations, sending standards to external calibration services, and reviewing documentation of calibration services.
  • Qualification and Preventive Maintenance on the installation of new and existing test equipment.
  • Drafting, reviewing, owning, and approving Calibration and Metrology Documents/Procedures to compliance requirements.
  • Working closely with production and maintenance teams to perform troubleshooting and resolve equipment/downtime issues.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical device industry regulations such as ISO 13485, MDSAP, ANVISA, FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 11), and EU MDR.
  • Demonstrated project leadership abilities on highly technical and complex projects.
  • Other skills include Leadership, High Communication Skills, Results-Oriented, Teamwork, Data-Oriented, and People Focus.
