  • Strong knowledge and experience with Jenkins as a primary automation tool for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
  • Expertise in AWS services and architectures, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Java, with a focus on Jenkins and AWS integrations
  • Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams with a focus on Jenkins and AWS
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across various departments
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the DevOps space, particularly with Jenkins and AWS
  • Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Jenkins Certified Engineer, or other relevant certifications, are a plus
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies and roadmaps with a focus on Jenkins and AWS to align with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers with expertise in Jenkins and AWS, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and IT operations, to establish a culture of continuous improvement and innovation using Jenkins and AWS services
  • Define, implement, and maintain continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins and AWS services to ensure rapid and reliable software releases
  • Oversee the automation of processes, tools, and infrastructure on the AWS platform, leveraging Jenkins for improved efficiency and reduced manual intervention
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using AWS services to proactively identify and resolve issues impacting application performance and stability
  • Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and scalability within Jenkins and AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies related to Jenkins and AWS to optimize the organization's DevOps capabilities
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the successful execution of Jenkins and AWS-focused DevOps initiatives
  • Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on Jenkins and AWS-related projects
