Selling Tools and Insights Consultant, North America
Role Description
Works directly with diverse sales regions to understand their unique needs, while implementing and optimizing adoption of new sales tools and insights
Leads change management and communication strategies to drive adoption of new tools and methodologies, collaborating closely with sales leadership to ensure alignment with business goals
Coordinates with multiple teams (Distribution Enablement, Learning & Development, Analytics) to deliver training, gather insights, and monitor the impact of new tools
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with, and regularly shadow, diverse sales regions and territories to
Understand their unique ways of working, workflows and challenges
Align new tools and centralized best practices with existing regional/territory processes
Identify best practices emerging from the field and scale across sales team
Develop and implement tailored change management strategies to enhance CRM, selling tools, insights and innovation adoption, including being hands-on with sales teams (e.g., setting up new tools for territories/regions; one-to-one coaching)
Lead communication planning and execution in support of new tools and insights, as well as department’s communications to global leadership and key stakeholders/partners
Lead coordination of Distribution Enablement teams to contribute to sales strategies and product launches. Identify gaps in enablement and raise to leadership
Leverage regional sales strategy teams to drive adoption and gather insights from the Sales team
Work closely with sales leadership to ensure tools and processes support business goals and gain their buy-in; understand sales leaderships’ needs and promote data-driven sales leadership and strategy
Work with sales leadership to establish and build buy-in for core standards in ways of working (e.g., when it’s not appropriate to use excel versus centralized tool)
Based on experience working with sales team, inform the roadmaps of the CRM, selling tools, Advanced Analytics and BI teams
Collaborate with Learning & Development team to deliver customized training programs on new sales tools and technologies, aligned with sales methodologies and business goals
Monitor and report on adoption rates and impact of tools and insights across different regions, aligned with established OKRs for the Distribution Enablement team
Ideal candidate:
Proven experience working within a sales organization; experience in change management and/or coaching preferred
Good handle on the industry, sales processes and sales team’s ways of working, as well as sufficient technical proficiency to become a skilled user of CRM systems, sales tools and innovations
Experienced working as a consultant/coach, understanding and addressing unique team and regional requirements; undertaking needs assessments and tailoring solutions and approaches
Empathetic and emotionally aware of challenges the sales team can face; while being enthusiastic about innovation and driving productivity, can skillfully promote standardized processes and best practices while respecting/leveraging regional nuances and successful ways of working
Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence
Experienced at communication planning and execution; can leverage organizational resources as required
While not leading formal projects, can build plans and frameworks and work in collaboration with colleagues and partners
Experience establishing data-driven approach to baselining, measuring and reporting on change initiatives

Salary range is expected to be between
$103,050.00 CAD - $185,490.00 CAD
