  • BS in software engineering, electrical engineering or related fields.
  • 5+ years experience developing firmware for embedded platforms.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of sensors, peripherals, and communication buses.
  • Proficient in C or C++.
  • Experience in RTOS and bare metal platform development.
  • Experience with MCU driver development for peripherals.
  • Experience developing with ARM MCUs.

Responsibilities
  • Design scalable firmware architecture for electronics control systems.
  • Collaborate with the hardware team in defining PCB architecture, communications buses design, MCUs and components selection.
  • Bring up and debug new hardware in the lab.
  • Apply best practices for firmware development, test, and deployment.
  • Follow modular design principles, ensuring each component of the firmware is functionally independent, reusable, and testable.
  • Create reports and documentation.
