Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in analytics, strategy, or business or finance analytics, with a track record of insights that changed material business decisions.
  • Advanced SQL, strong experience with modern analytics tools, and familiarity with dbt or semantic layers.
  • Hands-on experience applying artificial intelligence and large language model tools to analytical tasks such as data synthesis, hypothesis generation, and productivity acceleration.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including ownership of the logic behind lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, payback, net revenue retention, and revenue recognition, and the ability to connect it to strategy.
  • Ability to frame ambiguous questions, form a point of view, and communicate persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
  • Bias for turning insight into decisions and ownership of following through on impact.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders across every function to frame ambiguous business questions and bring rigorous, opinionated analysis to important decisions.
  • Act as the bridge between Finance and Marketing by connecting budget pacing, spend efficiency, and channel-level outputs to revenue forecasts and broader planning conversations.
  • Own high-leverage company questions such as unit economics, growth drivers, the business-to-consumer and business-to-business picture, and where to place the next bet, then turn them into recommendations leadership acts on.
  • Drive board- and business-review-level analysis by synthesizing what is happening across the business into a clear, trustworthy story.
  • Own core metric definitions as a single source of truth by defining them, governing how they change, and driving organization-wide adoption.
  • Partner with Finance on the metrics behind planning, including lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, payback, and net revenue retention, including more sophisticated segmented lifetime value across consumer and enterprise businesses.
  • Champion self-serve and modern, artificial-intelligence-assisted analytics so the organization can answer routine questions independently.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience partnering with a Finance team on unit-economics methodology, including lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, and net revenue retention.
  • Experience across both consumer business-to-consumer and enterprise business-to-business environments.
