- Two to five years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of native Android mobile application technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java and the Android Software Development Kit.
- Experience with third-party libraries and application programming interfaces.
- Experience with embedded relational databases, particularly SQLite.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- At least one or two functioning apps published in the Android marketplace.
- Knowledge of PHP, Java, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XAML, HTML, XHTML, Dynamic HTML, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, and Representational State Transfer.
- Knowledge of multiple mobile platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile development teams is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, multitasking ability, time-management skills, and consistent attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and use new programming concepts, tools, and methodologies effectively.
- Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions effectively.
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Fix bugs and improve and optimize application performance.
- Experience with multiple mobile platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile development teams.
