Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, business administration, economics, or a related field with a focus on logic and quantitative analysis.
  • Three to five years of experience in reporting and analysis.
  • Basic understanding of statistics, including sampling and statistical significance.
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating data using SQL, including subqueries, window and analytic functions, and regular expressions.
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Ability to develop or collaborate with a data engineer on the design of last-mile datasets, including metrics and attributes, for analyzing common questions in a business domain.
  • Knowledge of most functionality offered by the organization's business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to use analytical methods such as variance analysis, sampling, correlation analysis, and causality analysis.
  • Ability to understand business context and questions, choose a logical path of inquiry, make accurate inferences from data, and validate conclusions with senior analysts or a manager.
  • Ability to present findings clearly to business stakeholders and document analytical approaches and findings.
  • Ability to contribute to stakeholder decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Ability to review work with senior analysts, seek feedback, and incorporate learnings into work products.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze business questions and communicate findings through briefs, presentations, reports, or other media.
  • Clarify and document business questions, how findings may be used, and the analysis approach.
  • Conduct impact analyses to understand business performance, the member experience, and fitness results.
  • Develop simple deterministic models that project outcomes based on observed relationships, including break-even projections and simple systems models.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for problem spaces such as website performance, lead conversion, and studio portfolio analysis.
  • Develop internal and external documentation and training for analytics products, including dashboards, reports, key performance indicators, source data collection and transformation, data lineage, and suggested use cases.
  • Develop end-user applications with low-code tools to surface actionable analytics insights, collect data, or execute analytics-driven workflows and actions.
  • Work with data engineers to augment datasets with metrics and categorizations and publish appropriate reports.
  • Build a knowledge base of data-informed insights by documenting findings and promoting and communicating them through appropriate internal channels.
  • Follow applicable Center of Excellence tenets and methodologies when analyzing business questions or developing reports and dashboards.

Orangetheory Fitness enters Italian market with smaller studio format and Technogym partnership

Orangetheory Fitness is entering Italy for the first time, with Icon Palestre securing franchise rights to open four studios in the greater Rome metro area over the next four years. The expansion is part of Purpose Brands' international growth strategy following recent launches in Japan and the Gulf Cooperation Council. The Rome locations will feature a new smaller studio format with streamlined equipment, enabling growth in areas with limited real estate whilst reducing upfront capital costs for franchisees. Italian fitness manufacturer Technogym will supply a portion of the strength equipment. Purpose Brands, which owns Orangetheory and Anytime Fitness among other wellness brands, generates $3.9 billion in revenue and operates across 46 countries with six million members.

Purpose Brands announced that two of its fitness franchises earned top rankings in Newsweek's 2026 Readers' Choice Awards. Orangetheory Fitness to expand to 100 studios in Japan over next decade

Orangetheory Fitness has announced plans to expand to over 100 studios in Japan over the next decade through a renewed partnership with ITS Co., Ltd. The regional master franchisor, Orangetheory Japan Co., Ltd., signed a 10-year renewal agreement to establish 86 new studios by 2034. The expansion builds on Orangetheory's decade-long presence in Japan, with initial openings planned for Tokyo and surrounding areas including Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama, extending to Nagoya. Orangetheory Fitness is part of Purpose Brands' portfolio and currently operates over 1,300 studios across more than 20 countries globally. The partnership reflects strong confidence in the brand's growth potential in Japan's competitive fitness landscape, where studio fitness has gained popularity over the past decade.
