- demonstrated experience with de-novo assay development, optimization, and in vitro screening experience across a range of biochemical and cell-based functional formats as well as cell culture expertise
- 4-7 years of experience in assays studies
- experience in High Throughput Screening and plate-based assays
- strong collaborative and communication skills
- adept at multi-tasking, integrating biology concepts from group discussions and the literature, and comfortable working in a team environment
- developing assays for Cystic Fibrosis projects, running subset screens, and external data management
- performing routine tasks associated directly with Cystic Fibrosis projects or indirectly in a capacity easing role to support these projects
- joining a team of scientists focused on assay development and execution of primary and secondary plate-based assays for multiple therapeutic areas
- Experience with high-throughput screening techniques is advantageous
- comfort with software tools such as ABase, Spotfire and GraphPad Prism is preferred
