*Note: This position requires presence in one of our San Francisco Bay Area office locations (Currently San Jose, expanding to Peninsula/SF) 4 days per week; Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.

What You’ll Do

Manage the preparation and timely submission of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with changes in regulations.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to audit requirements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide technical guidance to finance and accounting teams on complex accounting issues.
Participate in cross-functional teams to support financial reporting initiatives.
Stay current on industry trends, accounting principles, and regulations to ensure compliance.

You

Have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is required.
Possess proven experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and regulatory compliance.
Have a strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Display excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Are able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Are proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Have experience in managing a team and leading projects.

Nice to Have

Netsuite experience (or other large ERP system experience)
Advanced knowledge with Microsoft and Google Applications

Salary Range Information

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
