Requirements
  • 5-6+ years of experience in software engineering and designing systems at scale.
  • Proficient in Java Spring Boot
  • Solid understanding of database management (SQL) and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with Cloud Native architecture platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience in Big Data technologies/frameworks like Apache Kafka/Apache Spark/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI/CD) practices and tools (Buildkite, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience leveraging monitoring and logging technologies (e.g., DataDog, Elasticsearch, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Track record of being a hands-on developer who efficiently builds technically sound systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading code reviews.
  • Proficient in effective troubleshooting and issue-resolution techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and integration of our robust advertising platform. Auctions services, real time and batch data processing systems and ML solutions with close interaction with our science teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to other team members.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine product requirements, aligning development efforts with strategic business goals.
  • Uphold high-quality standards, advocating for best practices and leading code reviews to maintain excellence in development.
  • Explore and implement new technologies and frameworks to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
