Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 3+ years as head of a global internal audit organization.
  • 3+ years of public company audit experience.
  • Must have worked in an Internal Audit Department.
  • Experience with SEC public company reporting is required.
  • Experience with SOX 404 and internal control assessments is required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in US GAAP.
  • Experienced with manufacturing companies and cost accounting is highly preferred.
  • Experience with consolidation accounting and reporting with multi-national companies.
  • Adept with all aspects of the financial audit cycle including risk assessment and scoping, designing and executing audit procedures, and proposing and presenting audit recommendations.
Responsibilities
  • Manages and lead the global internal audit function, which includes North America, Asia, Europe, and South America.
  • Supports the following key responsibilities of internal audit: Financial and IT audits ensuring integrity of overall control environment, safeguarding of company assets and proper financial reporting.
  • Management and oversight of the Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) program.
  • Sets strategy and operating plan for financial and IT audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Manages/assesses financial risk management on world-wide basis.
  • Manages Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process.
  • Builds strong relationships with external Auditors, provide support as needed.
  • Summarizes and present key control process and issues to Board of Directors and Audit committee.
  • Assists with accounting / finance related investigations, where appropriate.
