Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting operations
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and leverage technology to build scalable processes, gain efficiencies, streamline accounting operations and improve outcomes.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and FloQast preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies
  • Prepare various account reconciliations, schedules, exhibits and summaries to support the general ledger balances
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and support to management, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Post monthly journal entries for assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with various departments, including FP&A, Workplace, and Accounts Payable teams for proper recording of transactions
  • Partner with other departments to obtain necessary information to create monthly accruals and lease entries
  • Optimize and automate our monthly close and reporting processes to improve efficiency
  • Participate in external audits by preparing and explaining deliverables
  • Perform various special projects and research technical accounting guidance as needed
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and FloQast preferred.
