This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience with software design and development

• Experience with Java programming language and development with Spring Framework

• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and OOPs

• Experience in full-stack software development using technologies, such as Angular, HTML or HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON or XML, Ajax, SQL, Python, SOA or RESTful patterns, and JMS

• Experience with the Linux operating system and basic Linux system administration

• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures

• Ability to independently design, code and test major features, and work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience in software development using Go, Rust, SaltStack, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Tika, Storm and Zookeeper 

• Ability to comfortably communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings 

• Ability to be results-oriented with a customer focus  

• Ability to think analytically, troubleshoot, and problem solve

• TS/SCI clearance

• Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
