Requirements
  • Possess excellent communication skills with ability to connect with engineers and present to manufacturing leadership
  • Experienced in ISO9001 and AS9100
  • Technical experience building electromechanical consumer facing products
  • Experience formulating an overarching QMS/QPP strategy, then manage and lead efforts to implement and enforce compliance
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast paced environment to maximize effectiveness
  • Innate attention to detail and organization
Responsibilities
  • Iterate and improve current production quality processes and systems
  • Over the next several months: develop, document, and maintain a quality system compliant with AS9100/ISO9001 - including QMS identification and implementation
  • Work cross functionally with Supplier Quality to define vendor quality requirements
  • Identify and outline efforts needed to obtain AS9100/ISO9001 certification
  • Define frequency of, manage, and execute internal audits of manufacturing systems
  • Assist production line area improvements, such as incoming quality process flow and non-conformance handling
