- Issue timely written decisions and orders.
- Ensure due process and procedural fairness.
- Participate on appeal boards as assigned.
- Complete duties outlined in TAB Operations Manuals.
- Assist in supervising Hearing Officers to support effective adjudication of cases.
- Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to Hearing Officers.
- Assist in evaluating Hearing Officer performance against established standards.
- Support the implementation of operational procedures and workflow improvements.
- Handle special projects assigned by management or TAB leadership.
- Promote consistency, quality, and accuracy across adjudicatory decisions.
- Work on-site a minimum of three days per week or as required by operational needs.
- Travel to other MTA locations or external sites when required.
- Public-sector legal experience, particularly within New York City or New York State government.
